These are all the people and animals I would like to acknowledge:
My Mom because shes always there to encourage me.
My Dad for being the best dad in the whole entire world.
My brothers who just so happen to be the best critics in the world.
The donkey Jethro who is the best sermon interrupter in the world.
Barley the one who is my profile picture and is the sweetest dog in the world.
Maggie or Marfy, or Merfy, or Merfer-doodle, or Moofy, or Duck, or Puck, or any of the other nicknames she now has, who is just the funniest dog who has ever walked this Earth and who loves scritches and the sun.
All the spiders in my room and on the property for always listening to me tell them interesting facts about themselves.
My future tarantula Shelob for eventually listening to me read to it all of the writing I do.
My chicken Arwen, who isn’t alive anymore, but would sit on my shoulder while I told her things.
My chicken Legolas, who also isn’t alive anymore, for letting herself be held while it told her about my characters.
And my friends:
Sierra/Quill my confidant and the one who always tells me that my writing is good, even when I just want to throw the manuscript out the window. You can read her writing here.
Alicia for being the one who always encourages me during any situation.
Mira my fellow guitarist and one of my longest friends.
Byrdie for being the one who always says what she thinks and helps give advice even when it seems like we don’t always want to hear it, but deep down we do want it.
Lucy for being a great friend and the calm one who tries so hard to keep all us crazies on track during book club meetings.
Lyssam for being the one who always seems to be helping Lucy when she’s not caught up in the craziness herself, which is very easy.
Tokyo for being the one always on our minds and the one who’s always ready to come to the crazy side of book club no matter what.
Abi for being an amazing friend who, when I’m with her, makes all things seem normal.
Èowyn for always being there through thick and thin.
Lucy for being a friend who is always ready to play any game.
Yolana for being a friend to anyone who needs one.
Falea for being a friend who is always ready hugs and has to keep me and Yolana on track.
And my instructors:
Dr. Jonathan Rogers for all the amazing writing classes of his that I’ve taken.
My Mom, whom I can’t seem to thank enough, for homeschooling me and the boys for the past six years and putting up with our craziness.
J. R. R. Tolkien who is the inspiration for all my writing. I fell in love with the Lord of the Rings when we first read them and he has been an inspiration for my world(s) and creatures.
